A Russian newspaper has today quoted that Spartak wonder-kid Dmitry Sychev has recieved an invitation from Spurs to watch their next fixture at White Hart Lane A Russian newspaper has today quoted that Spartak wonder-kid Dmitry Sychev has recieved an invitation from Spurs to watch their next fixture at White Hart Lane. This follows fresh news that Spartak are involved in intense negotiations with Spurs over unused former hero Sergei Rebrov.

Many people have believed that Sychev was to be sold to AC Milan this summer, but a transfer never materialised. They are still said to be very keen on his signature, but the sight that not even Andrei Shevchenko can make the starting line up may put him off any possible switch.

Sychev has been likened to a 'Russian Micheal Owen' and if signed would be the second big name transfer for Glen Hoddle this season, after recently capturing Robbie Keane from Leeds in a cut price 7million pounds deal.
