Brett Angell has agreed to sign the one-month contract he was recently offered by Rangers, despite interest in him from other clubs. Angell, whose eight-week deal expired after Saturday's game against Plymouth, put pen to paper on Monday evening.

Ian Holloway had made it clear that he wanted to keep Angell and Lee Cook.

He extended Cook's loan from Watford last week and has now ensured that Angell will remain at Loftus Road for the time being at least.
