Rangers striker Andy Thomson's proposed move to Third Division Hull City has collapsed due to doubts over his long-term fitness. He agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract at Boothferry Park but following an extensive medical, Hull have decided against completing the deal.

Thomson has been plagued by a back condition during the last year.
