Flintoff Injury Worry For First Test

Andrew Flintoff will undergo further tests on a shoulder injury later this week and could miss England's first Test against Zimbabwe, which starts on May 22.

The ECB say initial medical assessments suggest that Flintoff has a compressed nerve in his shoulder which is affecting his bowling arm.

He was ruled out of Lancashire's Frizzell County Championship match against Essex.

No decision has yet been made as to whether he will be available for Lancashire's match against Hampshire on Sunday.
