French midfielder Bertrand Cozic will be offered a one year deal by Bobby Gould on return from the clubs pre season trip to Wales, the central midfielder with an eye for a killer pass has impressed so far in the games versus Sheffield United and Aberystwyth However another trialist to impress, Ben Cleverly is unlikely to be offered terms as the squad is now well equipped with midfield players with the first choice midfield for the start of the season being, on the right Martin Devaney, 2 central midfielder Finnigan and Cozic and Grant McCann down the left flank.

The search for a striker still goes on however with Peter Beadle un impressing in his two games so far and Rob Taylor taking up an offer from Chester and Naylor not being able to agree terms, oh yes and Paul Brayson transfer listed, oh did I forget Damian Spencer out for up to a month. So what are we left with? Youngster Odejayi and Corbett with no league experience, a transer listed Paul Brayson and transfer target Bob Taylor who is currently recovering from a knee operation!

Other than the forward line I am not to worried about the squad, maybe another defender is required however 'Archie' can always fill in at right back, however my 2nd paragraph does emphasise the trouble we are having upfront.

Lets hope we sign a striker soon!
