Bobby Gould made his first signing of the close season with the capture of promising youngster Craig Dobson from Crystal Palace. He holds the title of Nike Freestyle Champion 2001/2002. Craig, 19 was told by Palace that he would not be offered a new deal, Bobby Gould offered him a trial towards the end of last season where he played in a handful of reserve games. Regulars at the 'second 11' matches said that they were impressed with him and that the 'gaffer' should do his all to bring him to the club.

Gould was a major factor in Craig signing for the club as he feels the ex Welsh manager can help him develop as a player. He has signed a one year contract but if we have a successful season his stay may be a bit longer.
