Mick Wadsworth is hoping to sign up Kevin Sharp, the ex-Leeds and Wigan left-back.

Within the next week, Wadsworth hopes to have Sharp officially at the club.  The former Wigan and Leeds left-back was released by third-division outfit Wrexham at the end of last season and Wadsworth feels he would be just right for the gap at left back. 

Sharp would be a key addition to the team as the depth on our left-side is considerably weak.  In a interview with Huddersfield's official website he said:

"I would like to keep Kevin as he has done very well since he has been with us."

"We need to cover that area and left-sided players are few and far between."

"Hopefully we may solve the problem in the next week or so."

Remember, the start of the 2nd division is just a week away and Wadsworth will be keen to improve on last season's position of 6th which guaranteed a spot in the play-offs in which we went out to Brentford in the semis.  In my opinion, any signing who is free, is a good one.
