The match has been called off due to extreme weather conditions... Tonight's propsed friendly against Sheffield United has been called off due to the torrential rain which beat down ceaselessly on the MacAlpine.

An inspection of the pitch was made at 6pm by Town officials and they agreed that the pitch was in no fit state to be played upon.

Wadsworth and warnock both agreed with this decision saying that the pitch truely was unplayable. Sorry folks!
