Midfielder Brian Launders, former Colchester playmaker, is eager to impress Wadsworth as he bids to make his stay permanent.

Brian Launders, who is on trial with Town, will figure in a strong senior team in tonight's behind-closed-doors match against Bradford City.  The Irishman, who has played at a number of clubs, also played under Wadsworth during his spell at Colchester.

Manger Mick has been impressed with the amount of effort the 26-year old has been putting into pre-season training schedule.

He's looking trim and working hard, and we'll see how he goes in a match," said Wadsworth in an interview with the Huddersfield Examiner.  Mick is also planning to give on-loan striker Scott MacDonald a run-out who is yet to score for Town.

Wadsworth also feels confident about the September 10th tie with Darlington in the first round of the Worthington Cup.  The discounted prices are below:
