Town have just turned down Bolton's latest offer for youngster Delroy Facey. Bolton have just made an improved offer for Town trainee Delroy Facey, Huddersfield Rejected.

The Premiership side signed the 22-year-old last month when his contract with town expired. However, because of Delroy age, Huddersfield are entitled to a transfer fee! Whoopee!

Chairman David Taylor has been in negotiations with Bolton over the transfer fee but the deal will most likely have to be settled through arbitration.

"Obviously we would like to settle the mater without it being referred to a tribunal," Taylor told the club's official website.

"If it does go to a tribunal then it is difficult to say how long the whole process will take. To my knowledge very few of these types of negotiations are actually referred.

"Bolton have come back to us with an improved offer, but we are still negotiating so I cannot reveal the details of the offer. Obviously we need the money, but I am not going to accept an amount that I feel is too low."

Facey has a two-year contract with Bolton but Huddersfield are looking for a six-figure sum, whether this sum is £100,000 or £999,999 is confidential information.
