As the announcement of Huddersfield's new manager draws near the season ticket sales have been extended for a further five days... With the imminent announcement of the new Town manager, season ticket sales have been extended for a further five days.



That announcement is expected early next week and the ticket office is likely to be open until a week on Monday, July 8, but will be closed Saturday July 6.



At present season ticket sales are nearing 5,000, roughly the same position that sales were in this time last year and Town are still optimistic that they can equal, or better last years target.



“We are very pleased with sales so far,” said season ticket office manageress, Sue Beaumont. “The 5 day extension after the appointment of the new manager will be good for sales. Most supporters buy their season tickets in the last week of sales anyway, so, depending on who the new manager is, we could see a massive increase in sales for that week.



“An additional positive is that we have maintained the high percentage of new season ticket holders, with a 3% increase from 10% to 13%. We have sold about as many tickets as this time last year and I am still hopeful that we can reach last year’s target.“
