It's not going to be easy. Kimi not only has to be flawless, but McLaren have to be flawless as well. Even with that, it's going to take some help from Williams and Ferrari for Kimi to pull it off. Being 7 points adrift from Mike Schumacher with two races left is just about ranked along with having a life jacket to bail out of an aircraft with. It's going to take Mike and Ferrari having some serious misfortune in order for Kimi to catch him now. Then of course there's still Juan Pablo Montoya, who is in a car and possition to take it away by his own hand.

That said, anything can happen. We've seen it before. I think the biggest thing for McLaren fans however is something totally different. If you're a McLaren fan and a regular of the forum, and even if you're not, go back to the first posts made just before the start of the season. I'd like for you all to do that, then come back and finish reading this.

Now, assuming you actually did the work and read what we were all writing back then, can you believe that we've come this far this year? Isn't it a trully AMAZING job that McLaren have done? Did we or did we not do FAR better than expected?

I for one will be wearing my gear, screaming and cheering and praying these last two races for a miracle...but you know what? It doesn't matter if Kimi and McLaren can't get it this year. We've done not only what we all hoped for this year...which was to close the gap...but we've also got a leg up on where we're going next year. The MP4-18 most say is a failure. Frankly, I'd rather find out now than the start of next season...so it's all good. With the lessons learned from the MP4-18, and the awesome development of the MP4-17D, McLaren will be back next year stronger than ever.

So, all of that said, GOOD JOB McLAREN. Go get 'em Kimi!
