Rules and more rules...

Ever since I started to watch F1, each season the rules are changed a bit, few for better, many for worse...

Ten years ago when grooved tyres were introduced, and significant aero changes took place, McLaren were the first team to conquer the changes... they were also the last team to win a driver's championship with grooved tyres. This season however, will be marked with the biggest change in recent F1 history. Not only are the teams to adapt to new aero regulations, and the slicks tyres, they also have to be ready for the new scoring system.

This has to be the worst rule change thus far in the new millennium... 2009 is perhaps the year we see some of the closest racing and it is ruined by the fact that the person with most wins in 2009 becomes the champion. Fans may lose interest early on in the season seeing that wins for midfield teams or backmarkes don't count any longer... also teams may be forced to place team orders to prevent teammates from taking wins off of each other, and thus taking away from the fans the excitement they truly deserve .

Every team must try its hardest to win some races this season, but it will not be easy, and it will make or break teams... its going to be a shame not seeing nail biting finales like the last two seasons where the heat between McLaren and Ferrari went beyond boiling point!

Formula One needs real champions, and not fabricated ones with shinny trophies.

Is Bernie Trying to kill F1?
What person in his right mind makes a rule lide most wins win the Championship!
So......once someone has won the champiomship by ,say the 13th race,he doesn't have to race the final races?
Rules like this is forcing fans to leave F1 and watch A1.
Heaven forbid!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys making the ridiculous rules should retire while they have a bit of dignity in them...

The new F1 cars are the only modern racing cars that look old in Europe.
and than someone tries to make it an Olympic event..

"they" should go run the Olympics rather than F1.
