Spain's double world champion Fernando Alonso could be heading to the Honda F1 Racing team for next season after reports have emerged that Fernando spent a full day last week at the teams Brackley factory. If Fernando does indeed move to Honda next year he will replace Rubens Barrichello, who scored no points in last years horrendous RA107.

Reports from Germany suggest that Fernando spent a full day at Honda's Brackley factory, taking place in a seat fitting, which gives off the impression that he is serious about moving there and a deal could already be done.

If Fernando is to move to Honda, he will almost certainly join Jenson Button at the team. Rubens would then partner Takuma Sato at Super Aguri 

There is a chance that Honda could keep Rubens, but that is unlikely. Nevertheless Jenson could move to McLaren to race alongside Lewis Hamilton, which will definitely satisfy the British public.

In other news, McLaren boss Ron Dennis has insisted that his team is in no rush to announce Fernando Alonso's successor
