Williams meets Vaidisova in Istanbul final.

Williams reached the final after defeating the 17-year-old Bulgarian qualifier Tszvetana Pironkova in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3. Vaidisova defeats the third seed Anna Smashnova of Israel. The young Czech had to come back from a first set loss 4-6 but took the second and third with all ease, 6-1, 6-0. Venus Williams meets Nicole Vaidisova in Istanbul
