Venus Williams stretches her unbeaten streak at Wimbledon and looks to take another Wimbledon title next Saturday. Easily wrapping up her Fourth round match.
Venus Williams put on an impressive display in her match on Court No.1 against fellow compatriot Lisa Raymond.
Venus showed no signs of her knee injury that affected her play against Drake on Saturday. Her serve was full of venom and produced winners from everywhere on the court which so her win 6-1, 6-2.
Lisa who is number 1 in the world for doubles didn't have chances to come in and volley which affected her game greatly.
Venus found herself serving for the first set just after 16 minutes of play.
The second set followed the same path but Raymond showed signs of her game shining through but it was too little too late. She did have a chance to break the Williams serve at 5-2 but big serves from Venus blew the chance of a come back away.
Venus nexts faces a surprise Quarter-finalist Elen Likhovtseva who beat Maggie Maleeva 6-3, 6-4, she also beat Kim Clijsters in the second round.
