The #51 ranked Daniilidou fought off five match points in the second set and forced Henin into a tiebreak, winning the second set by plain hard-working-tennis using sliced backhands and topspin forehand shots.

Looking like Gabriela Sabatini's little sister, with her looks and her way
of tennis, Eleni Daniilidou outplayed Justine Henin and only needed one
match point to get into the final. She might be a striking comparison to
Gabriela Sabatini but Justine Henin looked just like a matchstick next to
the 182 cm. and 70 kg. Greek rising star. Justine's beautiful backhand, the
best one in the field according to John McEnroe, was not good enough as a
weapon against Eleni Daniilidou.

Tina Pisnik from Slovenia, who ousted Kim Clijsters earlier, was up against
4 seed Elena Dementieva from Russia. The Russian Olympic finalist did not
have any problem against Pisnik. The match was over in 47 minutes when they left centre court leaving the scoreboard 6-2 6-0 for Elena Dementieva.

Eleni, for the first time in a Sanex WTA final, will have to work as hard as
today to keep in pace with Elena in the 'sHertogenbosch Ordina Open final.
Both players will obviously enter Wimbledon, next week, being in high
spirits.
