Czech Klara Koukalova advanced into the next round of the Ordina Open, she defeats Milagros Sequera of Venezuela in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Koukalova had a walkover in the first round after Greek Eleni Daniilidou withdrew with a Achilles’ tendon injury.
Venezualian Milagros Sequera had fewer problems with the Dutch grasscourt at Autotron in Rosmalen. The 23 year old from Valencia, Carabobo won the first set 6-4 and came back from being 5-0 down in the second.
Klara Koukalova said it was the first time she played on Court 1 and had much trouble controlling the ball that practically had no bounce at all on Court 1. Being up 5-0 she just could find a way to hold her own serve. Sequera broke her serve three times before the Czech won the second set 6-3 to tie 1 all in sets.

In the third sets both players lost their first service game. At 2 all Koukalova breaks Sequera and holds her own serve for a 4-2 lead. In the ninth game of the third set Koukalova breaks for the match, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
