Belgian Justine Henin-Hardenne is suffering from a virus that will keep her sidelined for some weeks. She withdrew from the Family Circle Cup last week and went home to Belgium for research.
“I am suffering from a virus similar to glandular fever” the No.1 of the ranking told her fans on her website.
She is taking a rest for the next two week. “I am reassured about my health. In two weeks I will know a lot more about the virus”.
Henin-Hardenne left the tour last week after withdrawing from the Family Circle Cup feeling ill with low blood sugar causing her lightheadedness. She went straight to a Belgian hospital for research when she arrived in Europe.
