Only one of the five Russian girls survived today at Wimbledon. Maria Sharapova will not be the first Wild Card to reach the quarter-finals, she was beaten by compatriot Svetlana Kuznetsova in three sets. Never before five players from Russia played the fourth round of a Grand Slam.
