Jelena Dokic once more lost first round to Saori Obata and must now be wondering where her form has gone going into a tough first round draw at Wimbledon with hardly no grass court preparation Dokic who lost last week in the first round at the DFS Classic seems to have gone walk about after taking on Heinz Gunthard has her new coach and seriously needs to take a look at if he is right for her. Dokic faces Britain's Elena Baltacha in the first round of Wimbledon and the British number 2 now has to have a huge chance of upsetting the star.

Obata the Japanese woman sailed past the 6th seeded Serbian 6-3, 6-1.

Maleeva carried her good grass form beating Lisa Raymond 6-7 (6-8), 6-3, 6-4 and could win another title if all goes well.

Amanda Coetzer who has been quiet for the last month surprisingly beat last years runner-up Anastasia Myskina very comfortably 6-2, 6-4.
