Former World Number One Monica Seles has sadly withdrawn from the SW19, Wimbledon Championships which begins on Monday 23rd of June Seles who has never won at Wimbledon in her career looks has if it will stay that way. The foot injury that has plagued her all year has not recovered from the French Open which saw her lose to Nadia Petrova in straight sets.

This will probably be Seles' last year has a professional player if it is she will be devastated not to have one last crack at winning the grass court Grand Slam. Also the tournament organisers will be greatly saddened has Monica has a huge fan base and is also a fantastic player that attracts a lot of respect from players and spectators.
