Hantuchova Falls Again

Fabiola Zuluaga pulled off the biggest shock of the tournament and the Colombian's biggest win over a player in a long time as she easily dismantled the Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova Zuluaga was on the verge of being a big star couple of years aga when she beat Amelie Mauresmo and Anna Kournikova when they were at their best but was injured not long after. But the Colombian has won her native tournament this year in Bogota on the clay and now beat third seed Daniela Hantuchova.

Francessca Schiavone continued her impressive form has she also crushed sixth seed Eleni Daniilidou 6-1, 6-1. Frenchwoman Amelie Mauresmo overcame Czech lucky loser Renata Voracova after losing the first set 6-2 she rolled past with a little trouble due to a very strong wind causing lots of unforced errors from both players. Mauresmo now advances to the quarter-finals with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-0 victory.
