Garbin and Cervanova reproduce good form in Bol

Italian's Tathiana Garbin continued her good run at the Croatia Bol Ladies Open in Bol by progressing through to the Quarter-finals Garbin who beat inform Rita Grande beat Emanuelle Gargliardi in a tight three set match finally prevailing 5-7, 6-4, 7-5.

Ludmila Cervanova also carried her good form through after beating 8th seeded Mandula in the first round by beating German Angelika Roesch 6-7 (2-7), 6-3, 6-1.

Bad news for second seed Silvia Farina Ellia lost to Silvija Talaja who is on the way back on to her good form won pretty convincingly 1-6, 6-3, 6-2.

First round winners included 6th seed Henrieta Nagyova, Anna-Lena Groenefeld and Samantha Reeves all winning very easy into the second round.
