City will travel to Doncaster tomorrow without the inclusion of influential defenders, Wayne Hatswell and Scott Guyett. Martyn Lancaster is likely to be drafted into the starting 11 for the first time this season.

After home victories against Dagenham + Redbridge and Burton Albion, City will be travelling to Belle Vue with confidence even though Scott Guyett joins Wayne Hatswell on the sidelines.

Guyett picked up a slight strain in the first half of Chester’s 2-1 win over Nigel Clough’s Burton Albion. The injury comes at the worst possible time for City with the vital fixture against 3rd placed rivals Doncaster Rovers tomorrow.

Rovers have there own problems after taking only 2 points from a possible 12. Doncaster were the conference pace setters but have fallen into a rut over the last couple of weeks.

Goalkeeper Wayne Brown is available for the game before his one match suspension begins. Brown will miss out on the Margate fixture next week. Manager Wright has hinted that an experienced keeper will be loaned in for the match with reserve keeper John Wornsop not ready for first team action.

The game has further spice with Kevin McIntyre and Jimmy Kelly returning to there old stomping grounds. The duo have been 2 of Chester’s top players so far this season and Wright will be asking for more of the same tomorrow.

Doncaster would love to put one over the pair after they refused to renew their contracts at Belle Vue in the pre season.
