The stars may shine but this will pull the galaxies together behing the Warriors Saracens V Worcester Warriors

Star WarsThe Phantom Menace

or

The Men in Black XV

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…………

Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic of Zurich.  The question of relegation to outlying star divisions is in dispute.

Having failed to resolve the matter by giving reduced payments to the small planet of Sixways, the powerful Twickenham Federation has now arranged an attack of deadly Saracen battleships.

While the Press of the Republic endlessly debate the issues at stake, the Supreme Chancellor of Sixways, Lord Cecil, has appointed two Jedi knights, Yoda Brain and Obiwan Keast, with the power and expertise to prepare for the attack.

*************

Planet Sixways had been bracing itself for the attack for the past two weeks.  Situated as it is in the Black Hole known as the Worcester Triangle, few members of the Republic had ever visited it.  Its brave inhabitants hoped this would prove to be an advantage to them.

The army assembled by the Jedi was drawn from all parts of the Galaxy.  Leading his men into battle was Han Solo Sanderson, experienced flier, but tired from an exhausting trip to the Eastern quarter of the Empire.  At his side was James Skywalker Brown, known for his quick hands and devastating aim.  Only the people of Sixways knew that James had recently been wounded.  Would he have the strength to resist the attack?  In the front line were loyal “Andréoids” and friendly aliens like Chewbacca Windo.  Amongst the humans, some had new reputations to forge; other had been famous fighters in the past and had come to Sixways to prove that their skills were undiminished.

Brain and Keast had used all their wisdom and experience to hone the skills and sharpen the fitness of their recruits.  Helped by Healer Claire, sword master McGinty and Phil “May the Power be with you” Richards, the army took shape.

As news of the approaching attack grew more certain, Planet Sixways braced itself.  Recent offensives aimed at strengthening its position had proved disappointing.  Now it was facing a powerful foe: one made more confident by a string of victories.  Rumours of cannibalism frightened the gentle people of Sixways, as well as the presence of mighty soldiers, drawn to the enemy by the promise of great wealth.

As the vessels bearing the Saracen army glided to a halt, the Sixways faithful took shelter within the protecting walls of their city,.  The massed ranks of the invaders poured into the arena and the two armies prepared to do battle. In the shadows lurked a dark figure: Darth Vader Diamond was watching his troops.

The battle was long and bloody. Casualties were inflicted on both sides.  At first, the Sixways’ Warriors seemed to have the upper hand, but their enemies were battle-hardened and full of guile.  Observers from the Federation, there to see fair play, did not always exert their authority as they might.  Gradually, the tide turned against the Warriors.  The invaders were held, but not defeated.  Tired and disappointed, bloody but unbowed, Han Solo’s men retreated from the field.

BUT

This is NOT the end of the story.

There are 3 episodes still to come.

Other battles are yet to be fought in the rest of the galaxy and the Sixways army has survived to fight once more.

The Zurich Republic and the Twickenham Federation can rest assured:

The World will hear again of Gold and Blue!
