- Worcester came out strong after the break. A battering maul saw Harvey Cuckson crash over early in the second half Will Reed’s conversion pushing Worcester further ahead. (Worcester 17-8)
- But Hartpury responded in quick succession:
- Bazalgette slotted another penalty (~53′). (17-11)
- Moments later, full-back Alex Morgan picked off a loose pass near halfway, breaking through defenders in a lung-busting run from deep to score. Bazalgette kicked the conversion. Hartpury took the lead. (18-17)
- Hartpury then extended the gap: a third penalty by Bazalgette around 60′ made it 21-17. Soon after (~64′), prop Louie Trevett burrowed over from close range, giving Hartpury breathing room with Bazalgette adding the extras. (28-17)

- Tiff Eden hit a penalty about 69′ to reduce the margin. (28-20)

That has got nothing to do with a new team
That is all about skill and focus
There was no wind, no rain no hecklers and all the time in the world
At this level and our ambitions our kicker has to be 75% conversion rate. Points from the boot award forward workmates and pressure AND
Win the game first then go for your bonus point try! Just two conversions and we win (3 missed) 1 penalty and we draw 6 kicked for failed catch and drive!

Would like add what a delightful set up they have there. An excellent away visit.
Really enjoyed myself (apart from the result)
However we scored 4 tries to 3 but only converted 1!

It seems we can't take anything for granted, which should make for some tense and entertaining matches throughout the season. It provides me with a greater incentive to try and attend both home and away matches, and I welcome the opportunity to see my team evolve.
The context for my enjoyment is that I did not have a team to support over the last few years, and people kept telling me Rugby will never return to Sixways. As a result, I am determined to enjoy matches that may include frustrating errors, skill deficits, and omissions, as I know there will be counterbalancing moments of skill and endeavour.
While respecting the fact everyone is entitled to their own opinion,, I am amazed how quickly negativity permeates the forum. A few months ago there was no Warriors team to praise or denigrate, so let's simply be thankful for the opportunity that Warriors mk Ii provides

The three areas where IMHO we need to improve is
Catching retaining and protecting the ball
Defending the maul and breakdown support
Tackling and defence organisation
