The Quakers' week-long pre-season training session up in Scotland has been described as a success by Assistant Manager, Mark Proctor.
Proctor described the pre-season session in Scotland as a big boost to the Quaker's pre-season campaign.
The full Darlington squad set off for Airth Castle near Sterling roughly a week ago to embark in what was described as a fitness and moral boosting session.
Despite Matty Appleby (ankle), Neil Wainwright (Blister) and Ryan Valentine (Inflammation) picking up minor knocks during the week, the tough fitness-based session was regarded as a success and hopefully this will carry on all the way through the regular season.
Darlington face Harrogate Town away on Thursday evening, their first pre-season friendly.
