Star 'Keeper Sam Russell is yet to sign a new contract, a major concern for manager David Hodgson as he looks for a replacement, should the worst come to the worst.

SAM RUSSELL is yet to confirm his future at the Williamson Motors Stadium.

The young goalkeeper had an unbelievable season in goal for the Quakers last season, churning out countless outstanding performances and pulling off some incredible saves. He quickly became a fans favourite.

However, Russell's future at the club currently hangs in the balance, with Burnley supposedly interested in his signature.  

David Hodgson is currently searching for other 'keepers. Amongst the names lies former Darlo 'keeper David Preece. After being released by Aberdeen, there is a chance he could be back with Darlo next season.
