The Cardiff Reserves are in action again tonight, as they play Port Talbot. Lawrence will be there tonight, and this may be some players last chance to show their worth to the squad. The Reserve team are currently unbeaten in their pre-season campaign. Here's a look forward to tonight's fixture. The Cardiff City Reserve team are in action again tonight, as they travel away to face Port Talbot. The starting line-up is expected to be similar to the one that beat Mangotsfield 2-0 in the reserves last match with only one or two changes.

Gavin Gordon will be looking to impress tonight, after having a great game against Mangotsfield. Gordon is returning to fitness after a long spell out with injury.

Lawrence will also have a close eye on Ceri Hughes tonight, who has said he will retire from professional football if the Bluebirds decide to release him. Hughes' short-term contract ends tomorrow so this could be his last ever match, if Lawrence doesn't decide to keep him on.

David Hughes, Kevin Evans and Michael Simpkins also have something to prove, and will be watched closely tonight.

Tonight is also a big game for trialists, Kristian Dimond and Chris Collins, who are both expected to start.

Any Cardiff fans going to the game tonight, may see some familiar players, as former Cardiff players, Hayden Fleming, Andy Clarke and Russell Wigley are all in the Port Talbot line-up.
