Before the Christmas period all the talk from Ninian Park was of pressing on for a play off place and consolidating our position in the top six. However after two consecutive defeats and our third game in succession without a goal things are looking a bit more gloomy for the Bluebirds than we thought....

Cardiff lost another game over the festive period and travelled back from Shepherds Bush empty handed after going down 1-0 to Ian Holloway's Rangers at a cold Loftus Road on Wednesday night. This was a game the Bluebirds could have won but on the night failed to find the net once again, the lack of goals is beginning to be a major concern...

Alexander, Loovens, Cox, Barker, Ardley, Cooper (Lee 70), Whitely (Parry 80), Koumas, Boland, Ledley, Jerome. Subs not used - Margetson, Ricketts and Darlington.
