Former Glasgow Ranger left back, Tony Vidmar is yet to reach a descion over where his future lies. Vidmar was offered a contract from the Bluebirds last week.
Aussie international, Tony Vidmar has still not contacted Lawrence with an answer to the contract he has been offered by Cardiff.
Lennie Lawrence told the Echo, "I was expecting a call from Vidmar or his agent yesterday, but the call did not come. I want to make sure that everything is sorted out player-wise before we go to Scotland for our pre-season friendlies."
The left-back left Glasgow Rangers at the end of last season, and has recieved intrest from clubs other than Cardiff, including Premiership boys, Middlesborough.
With the opportunity to play Premiership football for Vidmar it now looks unlikely that he will join Cardiff, but we should find out within the next few days whether Vidmar will become a Bluebird.
