Langley is a Bluebird!
Following Alan Lee's move to Ninian Park, Bluebirds supporters have been treated to some more good news, as Richard Langley has become City's fourth new signing.

The 23-year-old passed his medical this morning, and has now completed his move for an initial fee of £200,000 from Queens Park Rangers. The fee may rise depending on appearances.

Langley is an excellent player, who was seen by many as one of the best performers in the Second Division last season. He netted the winner in QPR's 2-1 victory at Ninian Park last season, but was suspended for the Playoff Final in May.

Langley's contract is due to expire at the end of the current season, and he recently rejected a new deal at Loftus Road, so the London outfit have been forced to cash-in on their prize asset.

The Jamaican international has admitted his surprise over the move to Ninian Park.

"Ian Holloway informed me a deal had been agreed, and the move was up to me." said Langley.

"The Playoff final showed me the kind of support Cardiff have, and I am looking forward to playing."

Langley has already been added to the squad for Saturday's Division One home clash with Bradford City, and could well start the match.

Welcome to Ninian Park, Richard!
