Simpkins Signs for Rochdale |

Former Cardiff City defender Michael Simpkins has signed for
Rochdale. The 24-year-old was released by City at the end of last season, after two years service at Ninian Park, which saw him suffer with a spell of injuries and meant he never really established himself a place in the line-up. Simpkins signs for 'Dale following a successful trial period at Spotland, and as now put pen-to-paper on a two year contract. "Michael Simpkins has been training with us for a while and has worked very hard," said 'Dale boss Alan Buckley "I feel he will be will be useful acquisition, and will give us good value for money." Simpkins' last appearance for the Bluebirds was the disappointing 2-1 LDV Vans Trophy defeat at the hands of AFC Bournemouth last season. Good Luck to Mike at Spotland. |
