The Bluebirds have been allocated 33,800 tickets for the Millennium Stadium Playoff Final, slightly more than the 30,800 tickets Queens Park Rangers have been offered for the event. This is because the design of the stadium does not allow both clubs to have equal amount of seats.

Cardiff City have been offered 33,800 match tickets for the Division Two Play-off final, 3,000 more seats than Queens Park Rangers have been given. The difference in the number of seats is due to the set-up of the Millennium Stadium. One part of the North side of the stadium only has two tiers, as it backs on to Cardiff RFC's Arms Park Ground, which is the side Queens Park Rangers fans will be located for the final. Chief Executive, David Davies gave his thoughts on the decision on the clubs official web-site. "First, this is a
decision that was taken following a meeting between the police and the
Football League at which neither club were present. Cardiff have already sold 15,000 of their tickets to members and season ticket holders who are all entitled to two tickets each. The remainder are going to fans registered on the clubs database next week. It's going to be one hell of a game! C'mon!
