Lack of activity sees only one signing

Wether it's because money is tight or the club couldn't find anybody suitable, but the loan signing of a 35 year old is hardly the height of ambition. No pun intended but 5'4" Alan Wright from Sheffield United isn't the most exciting acquisition....

Wright signs in time to make his debut on Saturday at Sheffield Wednesday - at least he'll get a warm welcome! Other clubs in the division have been busier with some high profile loan deals taking place. Are our potential investors "hedging" their bets or has the recent run of poor form sent alarm bells ringing the Secret Halls of the Fund Managers?

We shall see....
