BCCI has revived the India A tours and under the guidance of Rahul Dravid, they should do well down under, and come back with a lot of new cricket knowledge under their belts.  Excited to see the names of Shreyas Iyer, Vijay Shankar and Faiz Fazal among the young batsmen who will benefit from the tour.  Also good to see more experienced players like captain Naman Ojha, Dhawal Kulkarni, Varun Aaron, Manish Pandey and Axar Patel also included... 

The All-India Senior Selection Committee met earlier today, to pick the India ‘A’ team for the two four-day matches against Australia ‘A’ and the quadrangular series involving South Africa ‘A’, Australia ‘A’ and Cricket Australia’s National Performance Squad (NPS).

The team is as follows:

Naman Ojha (captain), Faiz Fazal, Akhil Herwadkar, Shreyas Iyer, Karun Nair, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar, Axar Patel, Jayant Yadav, Dhawal Kulkarni, Jaydev Unadkat, Barinder Sran, Varun Aaron, Shahbaz Nadeem, Sanju Samson. Coach – Rahul Dravid

Harrup Park will host the Finals of the one-day leg of the tournament, while Allan Border Field will host the first class four-day fixtures.

14 August, Australia A v India A, Tony Ireland Stadium, Townsville

Varun Aaron, Jaydev Unadkat, Dhawal Kulkarni and Barinder Sran are a great bench for the current pace quartet of Ishant, Shami, Umesh, and Bhuvi...

With Kumble in charge of the Seniors and Dravid the A team, India are in capable hands for the long term...

India A got blown away in first match against Australia A... all out 55 and Australia A 56 for 2 winning by 8 wickets...

But in their second game India A win against South Africa A... Manish Pandey scores unbeaten 100...
