WOLVES Midfielders Paul Ince and Colin Cameron are mulling over whether to sign a new contract at Wolves tonight after formal offers were made by the club today. Birmingham City and Sunderland have been linked with Ince whilst Coventry and Cardiff have their eyes set on Cameron.

Wolves have already chosen to release Darren Anderton, Stefan Postma and Maurice Ross whilst talks have been taking place with Denes Rosa, Mark Kennedy, Paul Ince and Colin Cameron.

Talks with Rosa and Kennedy are still on-going but formal offers were today made to Ince and Cameron and both players will tonight be mulling over the particulars of the contract. However should the players resign they will do so on dramatically reduced wages following the failure to bounce back to the Premiership following the relegation of 2004.

Cameron today has been in linked with a move to Ricoh Arena at Coventry and a move back with former boss Dave Jones however it's understood Wolves are only prepared to offer Cameron a one year deal whilst Coventry and Cardiff could be prepared to offer two year deals.

Rumours surrounding Ince have also surfaced in recent weeks with Birmingham City and Sunderland both being linked to the Wolves captain, however the strongest rumour of them all was linking the former Anfield Star back to Liverpool to coach one of their youth teams.

Speaking to the clubs official website today the Wolves Chief Executive Jez Moxey said "Both players expressed a wish to see their situations resolved quickly and we were happy to act on that, we know both players are interested in remaining at Molineux and we therefore hope that they will give us a positive response in the not too distant future."

Reserve Team

Wolves have today announced that they will not be providing a reserve team to any league this year. With the majority of the youngsters expected to be part of the first team or away on loan next season the unusual step by the club to withdraw from the reserve league was made. Wolves will arrange reserve friendly games when needed.

Fixtures

The Football League have today announced that the fixtures for the 2006/07 football league season will be released on Thursday 22nd June at 10am. The season will get underway on the 5th August, less than a month after the World Cup Final.
