KENNY Miller signed out of Molineux on Saturday with a goal and wished the club all the best. It was Millers final home appearance before he makes his move to Celtic in the summer.

Other than ending on a promotion winning season, yesterday at Molineux was the perfect day for Kenny Miller. The Wolves striker played his last game in old gold and black at Molineux and signed out with a goal, the player of the season award and a message for the Wolves faithful.

Miller signed a pre-contract agreement with Celtic back in January and will make the move back to Glasgow following the final game of the season away at Norwich next Sunday.

It's the end of 5 long years at Molineux in which the striker was part of the infamous collapse of 2002, the promotion of 2003, the relegation of 2004 and the failure seasons of 2005 and 2006.

"The five years I've spent at Wolves seem to have raced by. I was a young lad of 21 when I came down to England and I've obviously spent longer at Wolves than I have with any other club" Said Miller.

"It feels strange to think i'm about to leave and that I won't be around the place next season. There will be sadness when I give the fans a farewell wave because I have made a lot of friends at Molineux".

One of the reasons he has made so many friends is due to his scoring record. Yesterday at Molineux he scored his 12th goal of the season, making him the leading scorer for this term and Miller left Wolves with a message.

Speaking to the matchday programme Miller said "In the last couple of years I've been linked with going here and going there, and there have been one or two ups and downs. But I hope everyone realises I've done my best at Wolves, I wish the club all the best for the future."
