All the unwanted records are falling. This evening it could well be a new all-time club low of nine successive defeats on the trot. Most reasonable football fans would say this record will happen. Don’t know about all you Wolves fans but I am regular getting regular mocked, or even worse, receiving grating sympathy about supporting such a team in turmoil. The good news is that Wolves are in rude health financially, Chairman Shi said so in his interview this week. Not that I listened to it all, I could only stomach so much. Shi fiddles whilst Molineux crumbles.  

Arsenal are top of the table, the gap has closed a little over the last few weeks, but they remain a mighty opponent, reflected in Wolves’ odds of 20/1 and more with some bookies. In addition to leagues positions, which couldn’t be wider, Wolves have lost the last eight matches against the Gunners whoser home form is formidable. Wanderers last beat Arsenal in November 2020 when Raul received his hideous head injury.

Having played 15 games without a win, only QPR (16 matches) and the Blades (17) have had poorer starts to the season since football was invented (1992), but of course the winless run is actually now 19 games. All in all, I have complete respect for any Wolves fan who makes the journey down to North London. Having said that I’m travelling up next week v Brentford, a lovely Christmas jolly, though still a greater possibility of a point or goal than the supporters going this evening!

We’ll see who Edwards favours in the starting line up today, unfortunately it will be without Bellegarde who is out for up to 6 weeks, that’s a blow and shame for one of the better performing Wolves players this season. As for the rest, after Manchester United and Forest, drawing lots could help?

I will be watching proceedings with a group of Ivybridge Wolves in the pub, hoping for the best, fearing the worst. Let’s hope we see a performance, at least.

Saturdays aren't fun any more, no win in our recent history and really not much chance of a win in our near future. Oh how this club has fallen and is dropping still. Can only keep supporting and hope that some change comes soon.

Not sure whether to watch the game or watch the old classic movie The Alamo, same ending to both I think!😂.
Anyway Good luck Boys hoping for an early Christmas miracle, can't Really see it though.

Lady luck has deserted this club, dont think they deserved that at the end but that's football.
2 own goals though, you couldn't make it up.

The effort was most definitely there, I thought the tactics were spot on and almost paid off.

Agonising in a match where we all thought we’d be ‘ommered, instead the story of the match was completely different and we deserved a point. Sometimes when your luck is out, it’s most definitely out.

For a Wolves team that is marooned at the bottom of the table, we competed well and I was utterly gutted when Arsenal got the winner.

The net result is the same, 0 points, the unwanted recorded of nine defeats in a row is secured but a glimmer of positivity. Can’t say a glimmer of hope because we are 13 points adrift with Forest and West Ham still to play.

Yes, played well last night, defended well, even Agbadou apart from a couple of loose balls forward. Restricted Arsenal to no shots on target in the first half. I even thought we might score when we broke from the half-way line until I noticed it was Hwang, although to be fair he didn't have his worst game. We look so much better with Doherty at right-back rather than Tchatchoua or Hoever. I quite like the look of Mane, not afraid to turn and run at players and it was a good ball played in for Tolu's goal. Unlucky last night but 3 points from the last 60 available isn't down to bad luck.
