Wolves are at Palace tomorrow with a 2pm kick off and it’s being shown live on Sky. With some busy though late activity on the transfer market, Wolves have ended their ‘relationship’ with Nunes (if you’re like me, then good riddance for poor player attitude alone) and replaced with several signings Bellegarde, Doyle, Gonzales and another Bueno coming in. I know little of the new players in reality, with exception to Tommy Doyle who I was impressed with when watching Sheffield United last season. Good luck to them all. Disappointing that we haven’t attracted a centre forward which we really need, however that never seemed likely did it? Silva, Cunha and Kalajdzic will just have to continue to front it up until at least January.
Certainly, the new recruits will be keen to see how they feature at Selhurst Park tomorrow (if at all!) as indeed will all Wolves fans – just how will the side shape up at kick off?
Irrespective of the opposition, it was great to see Wolves brush Blackpool aside last Tuesday evening, you can only beat the side in front of you and there have been many years when we would have dreamed of putting 5 past lower league teams! Great also to see ‘The Doc’ featuring so prominently and his exploits reminded me of the winner he scored at Selhurst Park for us in October 2018 and pictured on this thread. My sincere hope is that he features tomorrow too, maybe in the starting lineup.
In the last 3 league seasons, we have won 2 and lost 4, the latter including one Molineux defeat and losing all three at Selhurst Park. Yep, let's get Matt on to sort them out!!
Apologies for the truncated match thread opener and it being posted early. Chesh is away on a well-earned trip and sadly I am currently dealing with family bereavement. I hope to watch the match, if possible, though unlikely to post during play – please feel free to place your comments and thoughts in the usual way and let’s hope we can enjoy a positive Wolves performance, perhaps even 3 points?
All the best, Up The Wolves!

If can sympathise with your point of view Angry and perhaps there would be more excitement in the Championship but surely the point of supporting any club is about aspiration and if we were to be relegated wouldn't we then cheer the team on every week ŵith the hope that we could secure promotion?

There is no aspiration, that's my point as a combination of factors means the club is happy just to potter along doing the bare minimum to survive year after year. If the club has aspiration, it would invest in the stadium, it would invest in better recruitment etc etc..it's going nowhere bar at best mind numbing repetition ad infinitum. It's fcking boring. The whole point of a sport is escapism from the monotony of the daily grind finding some enjoyment in watching a team..there is nothing enjoyable about this year after year.
