Wolves hope to follow up their away win at Wembley with another three points at home to Crystal Palace this evening
Currently sitting six places above Palace in the Premiership with ten more points Wolves will be hoping to at least repeat the 1 - 0 victory they secured at Palace earlier in the season. Diogo Jota and Adama Traore are injury concerns for Wolves whilst Christian Benteke is still on the bench for Palace.

Lots of possession by Wolves but no end result. Careless mistake by Boly gives Palace a chance which Rui tips over. Corner comes to nothing. We're playing like the away team so far
Poor decision by ref to show Boly a yellow card for an innocuous foul on Townsend
Palace are defending well and we are finding it hard to penetrate. Jin king run by Townsend ends up with a shot over the bar.
Zaha loses the ball and theatrically falls over. The crowd are amused - and tell him!!
Wolves have just two first half Molineux goals this season. No surprise if this is typical
Cavaleiro earns a corner. Boly misdirected it, then Doc heads a clear chance over the bar

Glad to get in at halftime 0-0. Maybe MGW and Traore can liven it up a bit
Half time comes as a relief that Palce are not in the lead! Wolves are slow and lacking ideas against a well organised defence. Saiss has just had a yellow for pulling Zaha back.
Far too many passes back and sideways by Wolves and all our threat has come outside the box, whereas Palace have looked threatening in possession, and have amassed 7 corners to our two.
Moutinho isn't as fluid or quick with the passes from midfield as Neves, and Saiss doesn't have his accuracy. Jimenez is getting no service at all up front.
All to pay for then!!

Moutihno sparked it alive against Spurs with that fabulous corner that Willy put away. But a few minutes later the commentator described him as tired so I wonder when he will come off

I felt Nuno would change things up for this match, however I would have liked to have seen Neves plus Dendonker i.e. same as saturday, in midfield. Saiss and Moutinho doesn’t represent the most attacking duo.
I’m sure Nuno will ring the changes in the second half, I’d like to hear we are taking the games to ‘um!

Good attacking period for Palace & Wolves scramble it clear. Neves being prepared to replace Saiss, although Joao hasn't been on top form tonight

"Momma said there'd be days like this" - perhaps we save it for the bigger clubs? - oh well as Wolves supporters we are used to a rollercoaster ride!
So frustrating. Inconsistency appears now to be part and parcel of our season. Superb victories and inexplicable drab defeats.Sad to hear that was on a par with the Huddersfield performance, still not to worry, Liverpool and Manchester City next, so we’ll be alright!
I have no idea how to solve this one at present, hopefully Nuno is scratching his head furiously to address ASAP!

Why do we always do this? No matter who the manager is or who the players are, when faced with a game (when we should be full of confidence) to consolidate our position, we bottle it.
It has to be said that Pa;ace have played better away from home this season, and they presented quite a threat upfront throughout the game. This was never going to be an easy three points for us, but we should have done better.
Personally I fail to understand the notion of playing Moutinho and Saiss in midfield and leaving Neves out for the second time in three matches - his passing was sadly missed tonight.

Really disappointing, playing at home should give us an advantage and yet despite full crowd support, no injuries to speak of and playing against one of the weaker teams in the league we underperform once again. So frustrating to see such a lack of flair and invention from players who surely could bring some invention to their play. I begin to wonder if some players are overly shackled by the “system” of play we seem to stick to so rigidly.
One piece of good news; neither Nuno nor Neves would seem to be off to Old Trafford anytime soon.
However this was a bit drab, and mirrored Cardiff and, even worse, Huddersfield. Only Man U and Liverpool seem to have come through the Christmas time unscathed. All of the managers complain about too many games, so maybe they have a point? Anyway, onward and, hopefully, upward.
