Wolves head to Nottingham to face Forest looking to try and get a much needed win. So far under Lambert Wolves have managed just one win and two draws from the five games since his arrival.

Both league meetings between these two sides ended 1-1 last season, Forest coming from behind both times.

Wolves have won two of their last four league visits to the City Ground.

Forest have lost only one of their last six in the Championship, despite keeping only one clean sheet.

After winning four of their first nine league games this season, Wolves have since won just one of their last 12.

Two of Nottingham Forest's three league goals in December have been own goals.

The omens are not good, On the other three occasions that these two sides drew two games running it was followed by a Forest win.

I think we really miss a player like Mcdonald to get some decent ball out to these attacking players. Evans is just not good enough in my opinion.

I still would like to know the real reason why we sold Macca Bradmore, as I agree he is a big loss to us. A fairly even start to the match so far. Bright shaping up quite well. Too many offsides by our forwards though

No, not a lot to report so far. Mancienne got a header in which went over the bar, but otherwise pretty even. Bright making a good impression. Price has been booked for an agricultural tackle

Bright upended in the area by Mills, and the ref calls it as on the line!! Pretty typical of the refereeing we have experienced lately and by a ref who does PL matches sometimes

Carayol has caused us problem for Forest, but he's being taken off. Forest fans giving their team the bird regularly. Cav breaks away & puts it over the bar, Dicko & Costa furious that he hasn't passed it

This match was dreary as hell in the first half and had a draw written all over it, but our Portuguese contingent Costa & Cav stepped up to give us a hugely valuable win and a clean sheet. Just a shame Dicko didn't get on the goal sheet too. Perhaps we can look forward to playing Bristol City at home on Boxing day now?

a good home win on boxing day and the pressure will lift and give us a chance to do something this season.

We are only 3 points behind villa despite Steve Bruce working wonders.
