Sir Jack: Investors could invest within "weeks"

WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers president Sir Jack Hayward has confirmed the club are in talks with possible investors which could see funds put into the club over the next few weeks. New Page 1

The Wolves President recently halved his Wolves "giveaway" from £40M down to a more attractive £20M following a distinct lack of interest whilst the club was on the market.

Hayward yesterday confirmed the club were in talks with possible investors but admitted the stumbling block may appear when the board ask the mystery investors to put the money on the table.

Sir Jack said "We are talking and not ignoring anyone" Reported the Express and Star today. "We could see some real money coming in over the next few weeks and there could be something in the offing. But talk is cheap and when you ask people to produce money that's when it gets difficult".

Talk in the City suggested that Milan Mandaric - who's Leicester City takeover appears to have hit a stumbling block - could be in line to take control of Wolves. Sir Jack Hayward however denied the reports.

"I like Milan and enjoy his company but he hasn't come back to us" Said Hayward.
