Red Bull Racing confirms that it has reached an understanding with FOA to prolong the current Concorde Agreement from 2008 until 2012.

Red Bull Racing announced that they have reached an agreement with Bernie Ecclestone to extend the current Concorde agreement until 2012.

Red Bull therefore become the second team to sign the contract following in the footsteps of Ferrari who are of course supplying engines to the team next year.

The announcement follows many weeks of speculation that Red Bulls signature was likely and also comes at a time when many other teams are starting to make concillatary gestures aimed at averting a division in F1.
