Nigel Mansell attacked

23rd April. 49 year old, Nigel Mansell was involved in a scuffle with 8 young men. The 1992 Formula One world champion was hit over the head and received grazes to his arms and legs. "It is believed the men had been partying in an outhouse on his grounds when Mr Mansell confronted them," a spokeswoman for Jersey Police said.


Five of the young men, believed to be in their late teens - early twenties have been arrested and released, pending further inquiries. Three are still at large.

Mansell was once a police special constable and is a black belt in karate - It is unknown what damage he did to his assailants.
