Red Bull Racing: Jerez Day One Report

By Ian Lockwood
February 12 2008

Just about a month to go until the 2008 season gets underway and Red Bull Racing tackles the penultimate test of the season this week in Jerez de la Frontera. Both Mark and David completed their scheduled programme, with the Scotsman working on aero development, while Mark concentrated on mechanical set-up, both of them racking up high mileages with over one hundred laps a piece.

The only fly in the ointment was out of our control in the shape of strong winds in the afternoon, when both drivers were on long runs. David and Mark continue testing tomorrow.

Drivers: Mark Webber  /  David Coulthard

Cars: RB4 – 01   /  RB4 – 02

Time: 1:20.013 Laps:  113   /  1:20.176 Laps: 111

Fastest Lap: Lewis Hamilton 1:19.102 Circuit length: 4.423 km
