Team Summary:
After a promising qualifying on Friday the Williams Racing Team would have the Saturday practice to asses aspects of the car for Sundays race. In this session Alex would be replaced by Logan Sargeant. The session would commence with both Aston Martin's out first joined by the Ferrari's and Alfa Romeo's. There was a mix of tyres being used with the medium being the most widely used as we saw the first of the Williams come out as Zhou set 1m:17.059 to go quickest. The second Williams was also running with both on the medium as Sainz set a 1m:16.014 to be quickest from Leclerc and Bottas. Leclerc was now quickest with a 1m:15.868 from Sainz and Perez. On the hard tyre Perez would go quickest only to see Russell move ahead on the soft with a time of 1m:15.115.

A 1m:14.916 from Russell would see him improve from Perez, Hamilton, Magnussen, Leclerc, Sainz, Ocon, and Bottas eighth. The Williams pair were currently 14th and 16th with fifteen minutes of the session completed. On the soft tyre Gasly was now third as we now has the Williams pair 16th and 20th. This would become 18th and 20th with both cars back in their garages. Shortly after we would see the first Williams on the soft tyre as Ocon went quickest with a 1m:14.604 using the same tyre. The Williams would move up to 11th as the second also came out for a soft tyre run joined by several other drivers. Quite a few drivers were doing long runs on the soft tyre seeming to show the direction on tyres for the Sprint.

On the soft tyre Perez was now second followed by Russell, Verstappen, Hamilton, Gasly, Schumacher, Magnussen, Norris and Sainz tenth. The Williams pair were currently 16th and 20th with fifteen minutes remaining in the session. Alonso would improve to be fourth ahead of Verstappen and Hamilton. One Williams would pit followed shortly after by the other as they completed their long runs on the soft tyre in preparation for the Sprint. The order would finish as Ocon, Perez, Russell, Alonso, Verstappen, Hamilton, Gasly, Schumacher, Magnussen and Norris tenth. The Williams pair would finish in 16th and 20th as they completed their preparations for the Sprint and Sundays race.

Logan Sargeant:
Logan would come out for his first run very early in the session using the medium tyre. He would set a 1m:19.450 to be third if only briefly. He would improve with a 1m:17.935 to now be sixth only to improve with a 1m:17.613 to improve to be seventh. He would drop to 11th then 16th as he continued his long run on the medium tyre having completed twelve laps. He would pit after a thirteen lap run. In the pits he would drop to 18th but with thirty three minutes remaining he would return for a soft tyre run and would set a 1m:16.480 to be 11th, dropping to 12th. As he continued to lap on the soft he would drop to 16th. He had completed 13 laps on the soft as he dropped to 20th. He would pit after a 14 lap run seeing him achieve his 100kms. This would see his session come to an end as he left the car.

Nicholas Latifi:
Nicholas would also come out for his first run using the medium tyre. Nicholas would set a 1m:21.784 to be ninth and slowest. He would improve with a 1m:19.052 to now be 11th dropping to 13th as Nicholas would run wide and end up taking to the grass after a front lockup. He would drop to 18th as others went quicker. He would improve with a 1m:18.762 having completed nine laps. He would pit after a twelve laps run returning after a brief stop only to pit after a single further lap. He would return for a soft tyre run and with a 1m:16.181 was able to improve to be 13th dropping to 16th. Nicholas would continue to lap on the soft tyre and with seven minutes remaining had completed 15 laps. He would pit after a 17 lap run returning to complete a practice start from the grid.
