Eagle eyed visitors would have spotted that Enrique Bernoldi was decked out in plain overalls for todays test at Valencia, probably because the sponsor agreements have not yet come into effect. Remember the AsiaTech run in October 2000 ... Those of you that have had the chance to look at the Suttons Motorsport pictures of the A23 at Valencia today will have noticed that the pictures of Enrique Bernoldi show him wearing plain white overalls, without any sponsor logos present.
Those of you who remember the first AsiaTech (the company was then called Asia Motor Technologies) test in October of 2000, will recall that then the team were also kitted out in plain white as was the car used for the test.

At the time the test was being used by AsiaTech to shakedown their engines, and the Arrows car was simply a tool to allow that to happen. Since the AsiaTech deal wasn't due to come into effect until 2001, any of the current sponsor agreements would not have applied hence the car was run in a plain livery.

The Cosworth A23 has not been officially launched yet, and as we are all aware from yesterdays Trust story, there are a number of sponsor deals that have not yet been signed for the 2002 season. With this in mind the design of the overalls will not have been finalised, and most certainly won't be available, hence a plain design. Note too that the car is also running without sponsor decals presumably for the same reason.
