After the excitement of the Heineken cup, and after recovering from all that Guinness, it's back to the Zurich Premiership and its sister league, the ERE Fantasy League. Why not check out how you're getting on?

Fantasy League Week Eight

 

The cream of the teams this week are:

"The Drunken Monkeys" managed by BertM with a score Frikke would be proud of at 96 points

"Wanabee's" managed by Mr C J Swayne who have made an impressive fight-back by climbing 15 places this week, after plummeting down the table in week 4.

 

The horrible crusty bits round the top of a milk bottle that has been open too long are:

"Barny's 15" who are determined to finish bottom with a score [that the Saints might settle for ;oP] of 23

"Grandma's Grafters" have slid into the bottom half of the table by falling 14 places to 50th

 

 No change in the top three, although "Wherefore the beast" have had their lead cut to just 8 points.  BertM and Yorkie's faith in the pie man (Goode) has paid off this week allowing their teams to leap frog "Yippsy's Magic" and "Ragnaroc" into the top 5.  "The Good, The Bad and the Thommo" managed by Broughts, has slipped out of the top 10 for the first time since entering it, let down largely by a low scoring Wasps backline this week, and making way for "Champagne Rugby" managed by Sam Fulling.

 

Down in the relegation zone (can a fantasy league have a relegation zone?) "Bob's Bristol Are Bollocks" have finally pulled ahead of "Barny's 15". Salecastle are still making ground.

 

In the Allegiance mini-league the Tigers have stretched their lead to 17 points, Bath still head the chasing pack with Glaws a further 30 points behind them.

 

So BertM and Mr Swayne have graduated cum laude this week.  Grandma and Barny, time to resit your manager's exams.
